The fastest way to reach Ruka is to fly in from Helsinki to Kuusamo Airport, which is 25 minutes drive from Ruka.
You can also take a flight to Oulu or Rovaniemi and drive on from there by car or bus.
Finnair flies from Helsinki to Kuusamo all year round. The flight takes approximately one hour. An airport bus runs between the airport and Ruka in connection with scheduled flights.
Ruka provides several locations to stay. You may choose to stay next to conference centre or select a private villa from the one of the most desired villa destinations in Finland.
