The World BioEconomy Forum concludes each season with an annual Declaration. It is the Forum’s testimony on the status of the bioeconomy of that specific season and provides statements to further enhance developments of the sector. This is important as it is expected that the bioeconomy will become one of the major streams economically in the future and will provide solutions for global challenges.
The Declaration in outlined by the Advisory Board during the first half of each season. During the second half of the season speakers at The World BioEconomy Forum events (Roundtables/annual conferences) and members of the World BioEconomy Circle are entitled to comment on the declaration and influence the contents of the Declaration. The final Declaration is a document published by the World BioEconomy Forum.
The Declaration is organized according the Four-Pillar Structure to ensure wide coverage of the bioeconomy stakeholders and sectors.
